NACH Direct Debit (India)

Introduction

The NACH Direct Debit (DD) payment rail, operated by NPCI in India, enables automated recurring collections directly from counterparty bank accounts, by using a registered mandate. Synthix Flow integrates this rail, allowing businesses to schedule collections and automate retries for failed transactions.

NACH Direct Debit on Synthix Flow

To use NACH Direct Debit through Synthix Flow you must already have this product associated with a connected account from Deutsche Bank (DB).

For DB clients this requires you to be a NACH Direct Debit consumer on CB Connect. Where this is already enabled connecting your bank account to Synthix Flow immediately makes NACH Direct Debit available on the platform.

NACH Direct Debit preferences

To activate NACH Direct Debit collections on Synthix Flow, start by configuring your preferences. Until this step is completed, Smart Debits will remain inactive. Simply click Set Preferences to begin.

Invoice auto pull

From there, you can enable Invoice Auto Pull, which automatically triggers direct debits on invoice due dates—keeping collections timely and touchless.

Retry Rule

Next, configure your Retry Rule settings to handle insufficient funds on Direct Debits. Choose how many retry attempts you want and the interval between them. Synthix Flow will take care of the rest, ensuring that cash keeps flowing without manual follow-ups.
